A coalition of youths under the aegis of the Concerned Youths of Ankpa Federal Constituency has declared its support for the aspiration of Prince Gowon Eneche, popularly known as G1, to represent Ankpa/Omala/Olamaboro Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives. The endorsement was announced at the end of the group's meeting held in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital, where members drawn from across the three local government areas expressed confidence in Eneche's capacity to provide quality representation. According to the group, the federal constituency is in urgent need of a representative who will prioritise the welfare and development of the people, stressing that Prince Eneche possesses the leadership qualities, experience and commitment required to deliver effective representation at the National Assembly. The family of late *Warrant Officer Augustine Yakubu Oyibo (Rtd)* has released final funeral arrangements ahead of his burial on *Friday, July 3, 2026*, in his hometown of Agala-Ate, Ayingba, Kogi State. WO Oyibo (Rtd) passed away peacefully on *June 5, 2026*, at the age of 78. He was described by family and associates as a disciplined patriot, a man of faith, and a devoted family man. He was also the father of *Mr. Johnson Oyibo*, former Transport Officer, Kogi State Government House, Lokoja. A career soldier, the late WO Oyibo served the nation meritoriously before retirement. He will be remembered for his integrity, humility, and commitment to community values.
