President General Okun Development Association (ODA) Ambassador Akenson Rotimi has called for more support for community policing to address growing insecurity ravaging the nation. Ambassador Rotimi made the demand while speaking with newsmen in Lokoja. He said insecurity is maintaining a vicious circle cutting across the length and breath of the nation nation and has unleashed fear and uncertainty in terms of safety. The ex - envoy explained that the situation is frustrating grassroots development due to total desertion of communities by the natives and people boycotting their ancestral homes out of fear of being held in captive. He matained that conventional policing certainly needs collaborative efforts from stakeholders, saying security is everybody's business.
