NANS North Central Zone Declares Support for Governor Ododo and President Tinubu Ahead of 2027 General Election

Students under the North Central Zone of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) have passed a vote of confidence in Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, commending their exemplary leadership.

The Zone C Coordinator of NANS North Central Zone, Comrade Hussein Jemilu Ebbo, disclosed this while leading the zonal leadership on a visit to the Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development in Lokoja.

Comrade Ebbo described the leadership of Governor Ododo and President Tinubu as impressive, noting that their commitment to youth development in Kogi State and Nigeria at large warranted total support for their administration.

He particularly commended Governor Ododo for the attention given to youth in Kogi State, especially in the area of appointments within his government.

On behalf of the Zone, Comrade Ebbo declared their support for Governor Ododo and President Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general election in Nigeria.

Responding, the Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Aridaojo Monday Anyebe, said the administration of Governor Ododo and President Tinubu is a government of the youth and for the youth. 

He urged the body to remain steadfast in its support and loyalty to the current administration.

Hon. Anyebe described Governor Ododo's government as youth-friendly, stating that it deserved continued support and encouragement to do more for young people in Kogi State and Nigeria as a whole.

The Commissioner commended the group for their visit, saying his doors remain open for further engagement, and assured them of the Kogi State Government's continued support at all times.

Boreholes Will Ease Water Burden in Ajaokuta Communities, Says Onu Igala Elect Dr. Obele*

The Onu Igala elect for Ganaja village, Chief Dr. Isa Obele, has described the construction of boreholes in Emiworo, Ganaja, Gadumo, and Malam Hassan Road by the Kogi State Government as a wonderful measure that will reduce the burden of accessing potable water for residents.
