The resolution was reached after a meeting of Igala APC stakeholders held in Idah, the headquarters of Kogi East Senatorial District. Many Igala APC members believe they are being marginalized and excluded from meaningful participation in the party's decision-making structures, leadership processes and opportunities. According to the Convener of the APC Justice Forum, the majority of Igala members of the party are aggrieved because of open neglect and abandonment by party leaders in the state.
