The Kogi State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Mohammed Sanni Gambo, has condoled with the family of Alhaji Adama Ibrahim, Ward Chairman of Mozum Ward in Bassa Local Government Area, who passed away on Sunday.
In a condolence message issued on Monday, Hon. Gambo described the late grassroots leader as a dedicated and meritorious party man who served with uncommon loyalty in every capacity he found himself.
According to the State Chairman, the deceased was a great ally and will be remembered as one of his last men standing - a very rare and dependable supporter of the PDP in Bassa Local Government and Kogi State at large.
Hon. Gambo noted that the late Alhaji Ibrahim also served as Protocol Officer to former Council Chairman, Hon. Maigida, where he distinguished himself with humility, commitment and loyalty to the cause of the party and the people.
He said the death of the Mozum Ward Chairman is a huge loss not only to his immediate family but to the entire PDP family in Bassa LGA and Kogi State.
The State Chairman, on behalf of the State Working Committee (SWC) and the entire members of the PDP in Kogi State, commiserated with the PDP family in Bassa LGA, the Mozum Ward executive and the bereaved family.
He prayed Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings, grant him eternal rest and give the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
