Kogi LG Polls: Gov's Aide Hails Ododo Over Peaceful Conduct, Congratulates Ankpa Chairman-Elect*





The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor of Kogi State on Sensitization and Grassroots Mobilization, Hon. Sunny B. Omachi, has congratulated Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo on the successful and peaceful conduct of the local government election in the state.

Hon. Omachi commended the Governor for providing a peaceful atmosphere and adequate security that ensured a hitch-free exercise across the 21 local government areas, which saw all candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) emerging victorious.

The Governor's aide also congratulated the leader of the APC in Ankpa Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ibrahim Abdullahi Halims, for the resounding victory recorded in the polls, noting that the party's unity and grassroots strength were once again demonstrated.

He assured that the success recorded in the local government election would be replicated in the forthcoming presidential and National Assembly elections.

Hon. Omachi further congratulated Engr. Ademu Yahaya on his emergence as the elected Chairman of Ankpa Local Government Area, wishing him and his team a successful and impactful tenure in office.

Boreholes Will Ease Water Burden in Ajaokuta Communities, Says Onu Igala Elect Dr. Obele*

The Onu Igala elect for Ganaja village, Chief Dr. Isa Obele, has described the construction of boreholes in Emiworo, Ganaja, Gadumo, and Malam Hassan Road by the Kogi State Government as a wonderful measure that will reduce the burden of accessing potable water for residents.
