All Progressives Congress (APC) stalwarts, political leaders and critical stakeholders on Thursday converged on Abejukolo, headquarters of Omala Local Government Area, for the grand finale of the campaign of Hon. Mark Ediboh Ameh, the party's chairmanship candidate for the October 18, 2026 Local Government election.

The rally, which drew a mammoth crowd of party faithful, youth groups, women leaders and community supporters from across the 11 wards of Omala, was described as a show of unity and strength for the APC in the area. The venue was filled with party flags, banners and solidarity songs as supporters reaffirmed their commitment to deliver victory for the party on Saturday.

Speaking at the event, APC leaders and stakeholders described Hon. Ameh as a loyal, grassroots-oriented and tested leader with proven capacity to deliver development at the third tier of government. They urged electorates in Omala to turn out en-masse and vote for APC, assuring them that the party remains committed to good governance, security, rural infrastructure and the consolidation agenda of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo's administration.

In his appreciation speech, Hon. Mark Ediboh Ameh expressed gratitude to the leadership of the party, the state government and the people of Omala for their overwhelming support and solidarity. He pledged to run an inclusive, transparent and people-oriented administration if elected, with focus on rural roads, primary healthcare, education, agriculture, youth and women empowerment, and peace-building across Omala LGA.
