SEA Legacy Forum Intensifies Peace, Advocacy Drive for 2027 Re-election in Ajaokuta

 The Sani Egidi AbdulRaheem, SEA, Legacy Forum in Ganaja, Ajaokuta Local Government Area of Kogi State, has continued its advocacy and peace-building efforts towards ensuring an overwhelming victory for the second term election of the Member representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Sani AbdulRaheem Egidi, in the 2027 general election.

The Forum Chairman, Comrade Ali Atabo, and other executive members visited the Deeper Life Polling Unit in Gadumo to sensitize the electorate ahead of the coming election.

Speaking during the visit, leaders of the Forum emphasized the need for all supporters of SEA to close ranks, avoid divisions, and work for the overall victory of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the 2027 general elections.

 They added that Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and SEA’s re-election bids are sacrosanct.

A highlight of the visit to Gadumo was the reconciliation of two stakeholders ,who both pledged to work together for the victory of the APC in the coming general elections.

Similarly, at Ibaji Quarters, Comrade Ali Atabo stressed the need for all SEA supporters to work as a team for the victory of their principal, Rt Hon Sani Egidi Abdulraheem.

According to him, all their demands and requests will be forwarded to Rt. Hon. Sani AbdulRaheem Egidi for his kind attention.

Also speaking, the Secretary of the Forum and Senior Special Assistant to the Kogi State Governor, Hon. Omale Idris, commended Ibaji Quarters for the large turnout to receive the team. 

Speaking at the event, former Member representing Ibaji Constituency in Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Atule Christopher Okoche, commended the Forum for the visit. 

He said the community is happy with the borehole project by Rt. Hon. AbdulRaheem, but noted that more boreholes are needed to adequately serve the community.

He also called for the installation of solar lights and the construction of the road leading to the community, which has become impassable.

Community members, including leaders, youths, elders, and women leaders, assured of their support for the APC, especially Rt Hon Abdulraheem and called for more government impact in the community.

Also speaking, an SSA to the Governor, Hon. Ismail Mohammed, enjoined the community to remain supportive of SEA, adding that the issues raised by them are already receiving attention.

Earlier at Gadumo, the Etsu Ankuri of Gadumo, His Royal Highness Abdulmaleek Suru Adama, who received the team in his palace, commended them for their peace efforts in his domain.

 He said the efforts would ensure peaceful co-existence and allow unhindered development in the community.

In his remarks, Comrade Ali Atabo commended the traditional ruler for his peace-building efforts and for providing an office for the party’s activities in the community.

The state chairman of Keke Riders Association Comrade Sedik Acheneje noted the the visits was to meet with their supporters for proper synergy for the season 2 election of SEA.

He called for all hands to be on deck for the overwhelming victory of SEA in 2027 saying so far he has done well and needs the constituents support for reelection.
