KOGI YOUTH ENTREPRENEURSHIP & BUSINESS GRANT PROGRAM 2026.

The countdown is over. 

Tomorrow, Tuesday, August 11, 2026, the Kogi Youth Entrepreneurship & Business Grant Program kicks off at the Glass House, Kogi State Government House, Lokoja, from 9:00 AM daily.

The two-day programme will feature business lectures, financial education, business pitch presentations, and the presentation of business grants to selected young entrepreneurs, alongside the 2026 International Youth Day Celebration.

It is a platform for empowering young Kogites with the knowledge, skills, and financial support needed to turn ideas into sustainable businesses.

Day 1: Tuesday, August 11 - Business Lectures, Financial Education & Business Pitch Presentations

Day 2: Wednesday, August 12 - International Youth Day Celebration & Grant Presentation

Venue: Glass House, Kogi State Government House, Lokoja

Time: 9:00 AM daily

Boreholes Will Ease Water Burden in Ajaokuta Communities, Says Onu Igala Elect Dr. Obele*

The Onu Igala elect for Ganaja village, Chief Dr. Isa Obele, has described the construction of boreholes in Emiworo, Ganaja, Gadumo, and Malam Hassan Road by the Kogi State Government as a wonderful measure that will reduce the burden of accessing potable water for residents. Chief Dr. Obele made the remark while speaking with newsmen at the commissioning and handing over of boreholes donated by the State Auditor General, Hon. Y.Y Okala, on behalf of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo at Ganaja. He expressed gratitude to Governor Ododo, Hon.
