The Head, Project Financial Management Unit World Bank Assisted, Mallam Aliu Abdulazeez has felicitated with Muslim Faithful on the occasion of Eid al-Kabir.

 

Mallam Abdulazeez in his congratulatory message in Lokoja on behalf of the Unit described the festive periods as a moment that deserves sobre reflection on humility, obedience and divine provision of Allah in critical situations.

He urged the people  of Kogi State to use the occasion to intensify prayers for peace and total end to insecurity that is ravaging the beauty of cultural diversion that the nation once enjoyed and was proud of.

The Head of the Unit  specifically congratulated Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, his predecessor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and the All Progressive Congress family as a whole on the occasion and prayed that their unwavering commitment to unity, peace and collective progress of the state will continue  to yield positive results.

Mallam Abdulazeez equally congratulated the State Accountant General, Hajiah Doctor Habibat Tijjani who he described as a woman of uncommon passion for the development of the state.

While maintaining  that the significance of Eid al-Kabir extends beyond celebration and merry making, the Head of the unit urged the people of the state to always imbibe the intrinsic values of sacrifice, faith, compassion, and devotion embodied in the legacy of Prophet Ibrahim.
