_Olamaboro Delegation Visits Halims in Ankpa, Hails APC Reps Primary Victory



 Residents of Olamaboro Local Government Area on Monday paid a congratulatory visit to Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims, Member representing Ankpa, Olamaboro and Omala Federal Constituency, following his victory at the APC primary election for the 2027 House of Representatives race.

The delegation visited Halims at his residence in Ankpa. It drew political stakeholders, youths, women, and supporters from the three districts of Olamaboro: Okpo, Ogugu and Imane. Members of both Muslim and Christian communities were also present.

Speaking during the visit, the delegation described Halims’ primary victory as a reflection of the people’s trust in his leadership and appreciation for his performance. They cited several projects he attracted to Olamaboro, including the construction of the Biraidu-Uko Bridge, provision of clean water to communities, building of classrooms in schools, installation of solar street lights, and job opportunities for youths in the local government.

Prayers and goodwill messages were offered for Halims’ success in the 2027 general election. The delegation assured him of their continued support and loyalty, and commended his commitment to the welfare and development of the constituency.

Halims emerged as the APC flag bearer for Ankpa, Olamaboro and Omala Federal Constituency in the party’s just concluded primary election ahead of the 2027 polls.

*ANKPA LGA APC STAKEHOLDERS RESOLVE TO SUPPORT OMALA'S HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES BID IN 2027*

Ankpa, Kogi State - The people of Ankpa Local Government Area have pledged their support for Omala LGA's bid to represent Ankpa Federal Constituency at the National Assembly in the 2027 elections. This development was announced after a meeting between delegations from both LGAs in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital.  The Ankpa delegation was led by Prof. Salisu Ogbo who doubles as the Vice Chancellor of Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba, agreed to support Omala LGA's quest for the House of Representatives seat in exchange for Omala's support for the Kogi East Senatorial District seat in the same 2027 National Assembly elections.
