 The Executive Chairman of IGALAMELA-ODOLU Local Government Area Hon.(Barr.) Cosmas Atabor has expressed satisfaction with the peaceful conduct of All Progressives Congress Hiuse on Representatives primary held in various wards of the local government.

Barrister Atabor who made the remark while speaking with Journalists at Ajaka, headquarters of the Local Government, said the exercise was peaceful, free and transparent.

According to the Chairman, the large turnout of card carrying members of the APC, drmonstrated the consciousness of the people to have a representative of their choice, saying this examplified participatory governance.

He acknowledged the peaceful disposition of members of the party during and after the exercise, urging them to abide by the behavior in subsequent political activities in the local government.

Barrister Atabor commended the Kogi state Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for providing the conducive atmosphere for a hitchfree primary in the state.

"As you can see the enthusiasm by card carrying members to participate in the process leading to the candidate that will fly the flag of the party in the next House of representatives election, it clearly shows how party members align with the present administration in the state ".

On his part, the APC chairman for IGALAMELA-ODOLU Local Government, Hon Alilu Ochiedi (Omor) echoed similar sentiment, saying such atmosphere should be created in all programs of the party in the area.

Hon Alilu Omor called on aspirants to accept the wishes of the people, saying positions come from God.

A correspondent of this medium who monitored the conduct of the exercise in some wards of the local government reported that party members arrived as eraly as eight o'clock in the morning for the exercise scheduled to start at nine o'clock in the morning.

Ankpa, Kogi State - The people of Ankpa Local Government Area have pledged their support for Omala LGA's bid to represent Ankpa Federal Constituency at the National Assembly in the 2027 elections.
