On behalf of the good people of Iyogbo Community, the host community, I wish to profoundly express our heartfelt gratitude to His Excellency, Alh. Usman Ahmed Ododo, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, for recognising and rewarding hard work, competency, result-oriented professionals, and effective administrators.

Most appreciative of this is the recent appointment of our own and a veteran proponent, *Sanitarian Umar Anataku Shaibu*. We are indeed comfortable with you as a person and with your leadership approach. Your recognition of the host community in all your undertakings is a clear demonstration of inclusiveness and your understanding of corporate existence, and this is quite impressive.

You are indeed confirmed as a developmental asset to the institution, judging from your antecedents during the period you served in an acting capacity. Iyogbo Community is proud of you, and both the living and the ancestors of Iyogbo Chiefdom will continue to defend and protect you in all ramifications.

This appointment has hitherto settled a lot of infractions and distracting stories occasioned by some disgruntled elements who were pursuing and orchestrating their fictitious interests. We wish you well in your administrative undertakings, and we also look forward to your continuous philosophy of recognition, loyalty, respect, and value for the host community.

*IYOGBO COMMUNITY HAILS APPOINTMENT OF SANITARIAN UMAR SHAIBU AS KOGI HEALTH COLLEGE PROVOST*

*IDAH, Kogi State* — The Iyogbo Community, host community of the Kogi State College of Health Sciences and Technology in Idah, has commended Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo for appointing Sanitarian Umar Anataku Shaibu as the substantive Provost of the institution.

In a congratulatory message signed by Prince Ademu Yusuf Okpanachi, the community expressed gratitude to the governor for recognising competence and rewarding result-oriented professionals with key administrative positions.

The community described Shaibu’s appointment as well-deserved, noting that he had demonstrated strong leadership and commitment to inclusive governance during his time in acting capacity. “We are indeed comfortable with you as a person and with your leadership approach,” the statement read.

Iyogbo leaders also praised Shaibu for prioritising the host community in his undertakings, saying it reflects his understanding of corporate coexistence and mutual respect. They added that the community is proud of his achievements and pledged that both the living and the ancestors of Iyogbo Chiefdom would continue to support and protect him.

According to the statement, the appointment has put an end to what it called “distracting stories and infractions” allegedly orchestrated by disgruntled elements pursuing selfish interests.

The community further expressed optimism that Shaibu would sustain his philosophy of recognition, loyalty, respect, and value for the host community as he steers the affairs of the college.

Shaibu, a veteran health administrator, was recently confirmed as the substantive Provost of the Kogi State College of Health Sciences and Technology, Idah.
