Attah Igala Palace Secretary Dismisses Viral Video by One Ogala Comedian ,MC Enebo-Ojojo as Malicious and Unsubstantiated*
Rebuttal of False and Malicious Allegations Circulating on Social Media*
My attention has been drawn to a viral video made by an Igala Comedian known as MC “Enebojo-jo", containing false allegations against my person and my office as Secretary of the Attah Igala Palace, Idah.
I categorically state that the claims, including the allegation of a threat to the life of the Onu Igala Anambra, are entirely unfounded, malicious, and intended to damage my reputation and that of the palace. I have no personal or business relationship with the said traditional ruler that would warrant such a threat.
As Secretary to the Attah Igala, part of my official role is to interface with traditional rulers and facilitate communication between the palace and other stakeholders. The phone call in question was made strictly in line with this duty, to invite the Onu Igala Anambra to the palace for consultation. It is regrettable that the comedian misrepresented this official engagement and used it to spread unfounded allegations against the palace and my office.
The palace of the Attah Igala has established traditional channels for addressing grievances and verifying serious matters concerning the institution. Resorting to social media to peddle unverified claims undermines these processes and brings the revered institution into disrepute.
I call on the individual to refrain from these orchestrated plans to tarnish the image of the palace. If he is truly an Igala son, he should uphold the values of our people, who have never engaged in such conduct of public defamation against their traditional institution.
I urge the public, particularly the Igala people, to disregard the video and its contents. I remain committed to upholding the dignity of the Attah Igala Palace and serving the Igala people with integrity.
*Signed*
Jibrin Omale Onuche
Secretary, Attah Igala Palace, Idah
