*Ogbeha Congratulates Zakari, New Kogi ADC Exco...... Urges Reconciliation*
The African Democratic Congress, ADC, National Vice Chairman, North Central, Senator Tunde Ogbeha, has congratulated Hon. Tom Zakari on his emergence as Kogi State Chairman of the party at the just concluded State Congress held in Lokoja.
Senator Ogbeha also extended his felicitations to all members of the newly elected Kogi State Executive Committee, describing the peaceful conduct of the congress as a sign of the party’s growing maturity and readiness for the tasks ahead.
While commending party leaders and delegates for their orderliness, he admonished the elected officers to immediately embark on reconciliation and massive mobilization across the 21 local government areas and wards of the state.
“The task before the new leadership is enormous. I charge Hon. Zakari and his team, to run an inclusive administration, heal old wounds, and open the doors of the ADC to all Kogites yearning for credible alternatives,” Ogbeha said.
He noted that with the National Convention slated for April 14, 2026, the Kogi chapter must be united and focused to play a pivotal role in repositioning the ADC as a national force.
“I have no doubt that with Hon. Zakari’s experience and the caliber of men and women elected with him, Kogi ADC will become a model of internal democracy and grassroots mobilization," he added.
Signed:
Sen. Tunde Ogbeha
ADC Vice Chairman, North Central
