KOGI YOUTH AND SPORTS COMMISSIONER WISHES CHRISTIANS A JOYOUS EASTER*
The Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Aridaojo Monday Anyebe, has extended warm Easter greetings to Christians in the state and Nigeria at large.
In a statement, Hon. Anyebe congratulated Christians on completing the 40-day Lenten season, describing it as a period of spiritual rebirth, renewal, and growth. He noted that the resurrection of Jesus Christ is a call to unity, stability, forgiveness, and transformation, and urged Christians to emulate Jesus' lifestyle of love and compassion.
The Commissioner emphasized that Easter is a time for renewal and hope, and Christians should support each other, especially the less privileged. He stated that the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development is committed to empowering youth and promoting sporting activities in the state, and reaffirmed the government's commitment to youth growth and success.
Hon. Anyebe called for national harmony and support for Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo's administration, urging Christians to demonstrate love and foster peace, unity, and stability in the society.
