*2027 HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES: OMALA LGA GETS BOOST FROM OLAMABORO STAKEHOLDERS*



APC Stakeholders from Omala LGA met with their counterparts from Olamaboro LGA on Thursday, 2nd April, 2026 at Sky Bridge Hotel, Lokoja for a feedback on the request earlier made by Omala LGA for the support of Ankpa and Olamaboro LGAs in her quest for the APC House of Representative 2027 ticket. 
   The leadership of the team from Olamaboro LGA, Hon Yunusa Olofu who briefed the meeting appreciated the noble initiative of the stakeholders from Omala LGA to embark on the consultation with other stakeholdwers within the Federal Constituency. He stated that the move was quite commendable and be emulated and sustained for a lasting political unity and harmony in the Federal Constituency. 
Hon. Olofu who assured the stakeholders from Omala LGA that Olamaboro LGA would support their aspiration to cling the party's ticket for the House of Representative 2027 election, disclosed that Olamaboro LGA  was also interested in featuring candidate for either the Senate or House of Representative  in  the 2027 general elections. He enjoined Omala LGA stakeholders to show understanding and support their position. 
Responding. Hon. Arome Alfa who represented the leader of Omala LGA stakeholders, AIG Abdulsalami Iyaji Rtd appreciated the leadership of Olamaboro LGA for their kind gestures. He expressed happiness that the stakeholders from Olamaboro LGA had accepted to support Omala LGA for the House of Representative ticket in the forthcoming 2027 elections despite the fact that they too were interested in either the Senate or House of Representative ticket. Hon Arome Alfa further stated that stakeholders from Omala LGA were specific in their request for support for the House of Representative ticket and would not hesitate to reciprocate their support to Olamaboro LGA for any other ticket. He expressed his sincere appreciation to His Excellency, Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Chief Servant of Kogi State for providing the political platform for the consultation to take place. He described it as true democracy at work in Kogi State

*ANKPA LGA APC STAKEHOLDERS RESOLVE TO SUPPORT OMALA'S HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES BID IN 2027*

Ankpa, Kogi State - The people of Ankpa Local Government Area have pledged their support for Omala LGA's bid to represent Ankpa Federal Constituency at the National Assembly in the 2027 elections. This development was announced after a meeting between delegations from both LGAs in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital.  The Ankpa delegation was led by Prof. Salisu Ogbo who doubles as the Vice Chancellor of Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba, agreed to support Omala LGA's quest for the House of Representatives seat in exchange for Omala's support for the Kogi East Senatorial District seat in the same 2027 National Assembly elections.
