*Salami Appointed Kogi Permanent Secretary, Pledges Support for Ododo's Govt.*
Mr. Aminu Salami, the newly appointed Permanent Secretary in Kogi State's civil service, has expressed profound gratitude to Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for approving his appointment.
In a statement in Lokoja, Mr Salami appreciated the governor's trust in him, assuring unwavering loyalty and dedication to upholding established protocols in the civil service. He pledged to utilize his wealth of experience to significantly contribute to the vision and aspirations of the administration's 'new direction' agenda in the state.
Mr Salami also acknowledged the support of notable figures, including Rt Hon Sani Egidi Abdulraheem, representative of Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, who he described as a beacon of hope for the people of Ajaokuta. According to Mr Salami, the federal lawmaker's contributions to his rise in the civil service have been remarkable, and he pledged continued support.
He also commended the Kogi state Accountant General, Hajia(Chief ) Habibat Tijani Onumoko, for her steadfast belief in him and her efforts in promoting the ideals of Governor Ododo's administration.
Prior to his appointment, Salami served as Acting Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation. He holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and a Master's degree in Peace and Conflict Resolution from Federal University Lokoja. A native of Adogo in Ajaokuta Local Government Area, Mr Salami's appointment is seen as a boost to the administration's efforts in driving progress in Kogi State.
