*Kogi PDP Chairman, Hon. Mohamed Sani Gambo Leadership Gets Boost from Mozum District in Bassa Local Government Area*
Lokoja - The Chairman of the Kogi State People's Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Muhammed Sanni Gambo, has received a major boost as the people of Mozum district in Bassa Local Government Area pledged their support for his leadership.
The solidarity visit, led by Ohidozi of Adinbeku, Chief Musa Jibrin Maihankuri, was described by speakers as not a partisan exercise, but a show of love and appreciation for Gambo, who hails from the area and is the first son of the district to lead a major political party at the state level.
Gambo expressed gratitude to the people of Mozum district for their support, describing the PDP as a party that allows for inclusivity and has the welfare of the people at heart. "I am humbled by this show of support from the people of Mozum district," Gambo said. "PDP is the party that has come to rescue Nigerians and Kogites. We will deliver Kogi State, particularly Bassa LGA, from neglect and lack of infrastructure."
He assured the people of Mozum district that the PDP is committed to addressing the developmental challenges facing Bassa Local Government Area, particularly in the areas of education, healthcare, and infrastructure. "We will work with the people of Mozum district to identify their priority projects and ensure that they are implemented," he said.
Gambo also appealed to the people of Mozum district to remain united and focused, saying that the PDP's victory in 2027 is achievable if they work together. "Let us put our differences aside and work towards a common goal of building a better Kogi State," he said.
Chief Maihankuri, who led the delegation, said the visit was not partisan, but a show of love for their son. "We are here to celebrate with our brother, Hon. Gambo, on his victory in reclaiming his mandate," he said. "We assure him of our support and pray for his success. This is not about politics, it's about our son who has made us proud."
Hon. Saidi Salihu, speaking on behalf of the Mozum Community, said despite their different political affiliations, they came together to show support for Gambo. "We are behind you, sir, and we will work with you to ensure your success he said. "This is not a partisan visit, it's a show of love for our son who has made history."
Imam Adam Saleh said the people of Mozum district are proud of Gambo's achievements and are committed to supporting him.to succeed"We believe in him and we will work together to bring development to our community," he said.
Adakeke Medina Maihankuri, a woman leader in the community, urged all women to support Gambo, saying it's a matter of pride for the community. "As women, we are proud of our son, Hon. Gambo, and we will support him all the way," she said.
Members of the PDP State Working Committee, including Abdulkadir Ibrahim, Hon. Jude Sule, and Mrs. Soje Esther, praised Gambo's leadership, saying he is repositioning the party for greater glory. "The chairman has the vision and the leadership qualities to take the PDP to victory in 2027," Abdulkadir Ibrahim said.
In his remarks,a former PDP Chairman for Lokoja Local Government area and currently the chief of staff to the Chairman,Hon. Muhammed Bejimi thanked the people of Mozum district for embracing Gambo, saying his leadership has helped to reposition the PDP as the party to beat in Kogi State. "The people of Mozum district have shown that they are committed to the PDP and Hon. Gambo's leadership," he said.
