*PDP Shifts Focus to Youth and Women Empowerment in Kogi*



In a significant move, the Kogi State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Muhammed Sanni Gambo, has announced plans to revamp the party's strategy, targeting women and youths as key demographics. Speaking at a state-level consultative forum in Lokoja, Gambo revealed that the party will prioritize initiatives that boost women's participation in politics and governance.

The forum, aimed at enhancing inclusivity in the electoral process, provided a platform for Gambo to outline the PDP's vision for empowering women and youths. Key proposals include mentorship programs, training workshops, and addressing cultural barriers that hinder women's involvement in politics.

Gambo emphasized the party's commitment to returning women to their "rightful position" in politics, citing the PDP's past achievements in promoting women's representation. The party chairman also urged women in politics to balance family responsibilities with their political careers, encouraging others to follow suit.

The PDP's renewed focus on women and youths comes as the party seeks to regain its footing in Kogi State politics. With these demographics making up a significant portion of the electorate, the party's strategy aims to tap into this potential and reposition itself for future success.
