*Chief Dr. Obele Lauds Governor Ododo's Unity-Driven Governance*



The Onu Igala elect of Ganaja Village in Ajaokuta local government area , Chief Dr. Isa Obele, has expressed gratitude to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his quality and people-oriented leadership, which has brought peace and unity to Kogi State. 
Chief Obele made this assertion during a stakeholders meeting of Igala communities in Ganaja, Gadumo, and Elite communities with top Igala government officials in Lokoja.

He noted that since Governor Ododo's administration, the communities have enjoyed a peaceful atmosphere and unity of purpose, attracting development to the area. Chief Obele commended the Kogi State Auditor General, Alhaji Yakubu Okala, for initiating the move for unity of purpose and a sense of common direction for all Igalas in the area.

Chief Obele assured that the people will stand by the government at all times to attract more development and support towards positively affecting the lives of the people. He expressed satisfaction with the level of support and cooperation from the indigenous people of Ganaja, "The Aganku family" to the Igala people, and called for more cooperation and unity.

He also commended the Deputy Speaker of the Kogi  State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Confort Egwaba, Member representing Dekina Biraidu State Constituency, Hon. Usman Ochidi, Alhaji Haruna Nemigi, chiefs, and other Igala stakeholders for attending the meeting.

*"MTN's Issues with Kogi State Government: A Matter of Non-Compliance"*

Hon. Dr. Issa Tawfiq, Director General of Kogi State Utility, Infrastructure Management and Compliance Agency, has shed light on the issues surrounding MTN's operations in Kogi State. According to him, MTN has been non-compliant with the agency's regulations, leading to conflicts between the state government and the telecommunication company.
