NANTMP SET TO CONDUCT ELECTIONS IN NORTH CENTRAL ZONE.



The Vice President North Central Zone of the National Association of Nigeria Traditional Medicine Practitioners (NANTMP), Chief (Dr.) Isa Obele, has announced that elections for chairmanship and other positions will soon be conducted in some state chapters. This development aims to further strengthen the organization's structure and promote unity among its members.

Chief Isa Obele made the assertion while addressing some pressing issues in certain state chapters. He assured that the states would be notified on the criteria for elective offices before the election takes place. The North Central Zonal President identified the states slated for elections to include Benue State, Kogi State, Nasarawa State, and the FCT Abuja.

The zonal President emphasized the importance of unity among traditional medicine practitioners, stressing that the organization's key vision is to make traditional medicine accessible to the people in line with global standards. He drew parallels with other countries where traditional medicine has been integrated into mainstream healthcare, highlighting the potential for Nigeria to follow suit.

Chief Isa Obele commended members in the North Central zone for their resilience and commitment to the growth of the organization. He expressed optimism about the future of traditional medicine in the region and promised to work closely with the government to advance the cause of traditional medicine in curing ailments.

The upcoming elections are expected to bring new leadership and fresh ideas to the state chapters, further enhancing the organization's mission. With the right leadership and synergy with the government, traditional medicine practitioners in the North Central zone can make significant strides in promoting their craft.
