KERC CHAIRMAN ENGR ABDWAARIS CONGRATULATES FORMER GOVERNOR YAHAYA BELLO ON 50TH BIRTHDAY



The Chairman/CEO of the Kogi State Electricity Regulatory Commission (KERC), Engr. Ibrahim S. Abdwaaris, has congratulated the immediate past Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello, on his 50th birthday.

In a statement, Engr. Abdwaaris commended Governor Bello's contributions to Kogi State's development during his tenure and praised his successor, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, for building on the foundations laid by him.

The KERC Chairman noted that Kogi State has experienced peace and stability under Governor Ododo's leadership, with a people-centered administration that prioritizes civil servants' welfare and pensioners; a testament to the goodwill intention of former Governor Yahaya Bello to comfort the people and indigenes of Kogi State.

Engr. Abdwaaris reaffirmed KERC's commitment to ensuring that the distribution company in the electricity market works in the overall interest of consumers, promoting performance and excellence.

The KERC Chairman wished Former Governor Yahaya Bello a happy 50th birthday, praying for many more years of service, good health, and prosperity.
