ICDA at Post Flood Estate Lokoja begins as Chairman, Daniel Alhassan stresses need for uniy, love





A new branch of the Igalas Cultural and Development Association, ICDA, has been established at the Post Flood Housing Estate, Lokoja, comprising of members from the Estate and its environs.

Speaking at the inaugural meeting on Saturday, the Acting Chairman of the Association, Mr Daniel
Alhassan said the idea was to ensure Unity of purpose among Igala sons and daughters in order to attract development.

Mr Alhassan urged members to initiate ideas that would strengthen the body in line with the ideals of the national body.

According to him, every tribe has its own peculiar culture and tradition and called on the members to uphold such in the general interest of the Igala kingdom.

The ICDA branch chairman assured of purposeful leadership and urged other members of the interim executive and members to cooperate with him to ensure the realization of set objectives.

Also speaking, the Madaki of Igala in the Estate, Mallam Ndamudi  Sule  said the idea of a new ICDA in the area was to unite the Igala people within the environs and advised those present to work hard to woo more members and strengthen the organization.

Other officials appointed are Ogohi Amen Secretary, Alhaji Bashir Treasurer,  Sadiq Sani Public Relations Officer, while Mrs Joy Oyibo is to serve as Women Leader
