*ANKPA CONSTITUENCY REJOICES: REP. HALIMS DISTRIBUTES N200M WORTH OF RICE*



In a heartwarming display of generosity, Rt. Hon Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims, the Deputy Leader of the House of Representatives and Member Representing Ankpa, Omala, and Olamaboro Federal Constituency, has distributed 680 bags of 50kg rice to the 34 electoral wards of Ankpa Federal Constituency. The gesture, estimated to be worth about N200 million, is aimed at contributing to the food needs of the people during and after the upcoming Sallah celebration.

The distribution ceremony, flagged off by the Executive Chairman of Ankpa Local Government, Hon. Mohammed Yahaya, was witnessed by the Chairmen of Omala and Olamaboro Local Government Areas. The Federal Lawmaker's Legislative Aide, Barr. Anthony Omali, noted that the outreach was neither party-inclined nor intended for political purposes but a cheer gesture motivated by Rep. Halims' desire to extend maximum dividends of democracy to the people.

The Community Leader of Ankpa, Alhaji Akpai Alfa, commended Rep. Halims for his heart of service and numerous interventions across the constituency. He urged other elected officials to emulate Rep. Halims' example and put the people first in their stewardship.

In addition to the 680 bags of rice distributed, Rep. Halims has earmarked over 1,000 bags for traditional rulers, pensioners, civil service unions, religious organizations, society leaders, clerics, and indigent constituents. This gesture has brought joy and relief to the people of Ankpa Constituency, who are grateful for Rep. Halims' kindness and generosity.
