Hon. Mark Okpanachi Ogah honored.

Lokoja, May 27, 2025 – In a stirring moment of recognition and celebration, Hon. Mark Okpanachi Ogah, CEO of Anarock Global Services Limited and respected humanitarian from Idah Federal Constituency, has been honoured with the Outstanding Giver, Promoter of Women and Children Award at the prestigious 2025 Nigerian Post/Margaret Ekpo Biographical Centre Humanitarian Awards.
The award ceremony, held at the NUJ Press Centre, Lokoja, formed part of activities marking this year’s Children’s Day Celebration, themed “Children: Our Future, Our Responsibility.” The event spotlighted individuals and institutions that have distinguished themselves in providing support and relief to vulnerable groups, especially women and children, in society.
Hon. Ogah, a well-known advocate for social development and grassroots empowerment, was recognized for his unwavering contributions towards uplifting the marginalized and for promoting inclusive community development. His philanthropic efforts, particularly in the areas of health outreach, educational support, and women empowerment, have continued to impact lives across the Idah Federal Constituency and beyond.
Though unable to attend the ceremony personally, Hon. Ogah was ably represented by his Media Assistant, Mr. Christopher Sunday, who received the award on his behalf. In a heartfelt remark delivered at the event, Sunday conveyed Hon. Ogah’s gratitude and reaffirmed his principal’s commitment to humanitarian service.
“This recognition is not just an award but a call to deepen our commitment to the vulnerable. Hon. Mark Ogah remains resolute in his passion to empower women and children and will continue to invest in initiatives that shape a better society,” he stated.
The event featured notable dignitaries including His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, Executive Governor of Kogi State, as Special Guest of Honour, and Prof. Salisu Usman Ogbo, Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, who served as Guest Speaker. The ceremony was chaired by Asiwaju Asiru Idris, Kogi State Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, with HRH Alhaji ZA Dangana, Onogie of Afemai, as Royal Father of the Day.
The award, dedicated to immortalizing the legacy of Late Margaret Ekpo, a legendary advocate for women and children’s rights, continues to inspire a new generation of changemakers across Nigeria. Hon. Mark Ogah’s recognition reinforces his growing reputation as a beacon of hope and development in Kogi State.
