United Christian Gospel Church, Ejule-Ojebe Ibaji Local Government Area Commences 2025 National Convention with Intercessory Prayers for Igala/Ibaji Land*

The United Christian Gospel Church in Ejule-Ojebe, Ibaji Local Government Area, has kicked off its 2025 National Convention with a special focus on intercessory prayers for Igala/Ibaji land. The event, themed "Wonderful God, Our Need," brought together thousands of worshippers from across the country seeking spiritual renewal and divine intervention.

The convention featured powerful ministrations from renowned speakers, including Rev. Dr. Anish Babu from Qatar, Dr. Segun Oshinaga from Abuja, Bishop Daniel Ouma from Tanzania, and Rev. Bernard Abuje, General Overseer of the United Christian Gospel Church. Other notable attendees included Hon. Comfort Egwuaba, Deputy Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, and Timothy Ojoma, Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security.

The intercessory prayers session wa a pivotal part of the convention, with attendees coming together to pray for the peace, prosperity, and spiritual growth of Igala/Ibaji land. Dr. Segun Oshinaga delivered a thought-provoking sermon, emphasizing the importance of faith and trust in God's plan for the community and the need for transparent leadership 

Dr. Oshinaga's message also highlighted the need for leaders to govern with humility and integrity, prioritizing selfless service to humanity. He cited examples of good leadership  demonstrating the power of servant leadership and passion in driving positive change.

Rev. B.A. Abuje, the General Overseer of the United Christian Gospel Church, delivered a heartfelt message during the 2025 National Convention. He emphasized the importance of intercessory prayers for Igala/Ibaji land, stating that it is through faith and spiritual renewal that the land can experience growth and development.

He asked for prayers for the Traditional stool,the land against the annual flooding that has continued to devastate the area and for the youths to engage in more meaningful ventures .He encouraged attendees to continue praying for the peace and prosperity of Igala/Ibaji land.

As the community moves forward, it is essential to build on the momentum generated by the convention, promoting peace, unity, and selfless service.                           The conference continues this sunday the sixth of April with the ordination of pastors with sermon from the General overseer, Dr Oshinaga and guest speaker's sermon, Bishop Dr. Ouma from Tanzania, Rev (Mrs) Naomi Thompson and Dr . Anish Babu-from Quatr.
