UNION : OHIDA HAILS COMR, GODWIN ABUMISI,ONU ABDULAHI EMERGENCES AS NATIONAL PRESIDENT,DEPUTY NATIONAL PRESIDENT -NUP



The leadership of Kogi state chapter of Nigeria Union of Pensioners [NUP] ,under the workaholic and results oriented leadership of Elder engr.clement Otaru Ohida,has on behalf of the state working committee and the entire senior citizens has felicitated with the National President,Comrade [elder] Godwin Abumisi over his unhindered re-election for a second term and former kogi state chairman of the Union,Chief Onu Abdulahi on their monumental victor as the national President and the Deputy National President of the Union.

Elder [Engr ] Ohida, equally extended his heartfelt congratulations to Comrade [Elder] Godwin ABUMISI[JP] over his impressive and re-election for second term has the National President of the Union.

At a keenly contested election far away Kano state, north west, Nigeria, the duos as the national President, and Chief Onu  Abdulahi beat other contestants with a wide margin to emerged as the Deputy National President of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners [NUP]

In a felicitation message to the new national leaders of the Union, ,Elder [Engr],Clement Ohida which was made available to Newsmen in Lokoja today,hailed their successes in the just concluded national delegate conference of the Union held in the commercial ancient town of kano State, noted that their victories demonstrated their  political strength, acceptability, integrity and popularity which earned them the landslide victories . 


According to him,the victories of Comrade Gowin Abumisi and chief Onu  Abdulahi as the  national President and Deputy National President respectively to them in Kogi state chapter of the Union is putting a square pegs in a square holes  judging from their  track record of achievements in their various field  of human endeavours 

Kogi state Pensioners boss, however , expressed explicit confidence and trust in their  leaderships  to be on the drivers seat to provide quality leadership and sound representations asserted that the two national leaders of the Union have been tested,trusted  and adequately groomed  over the years for leadership  and  have shown capacity and capability in the several positions he held sway in the past and delivered to the admiration of their people they represents 

Elder,Engr.Clement Otaru Ohida,used the avenue to reiterates the unwavering support of Kogi state chapter of the Union by giving one hundred percent support and cooperation to enable their  tenure witness maximum successes. 

He asked God Almighty to continue to provide the re-relected National President, Comrade [elder] , Godwin Abumisi  and the newest Deputy National President, Chief Onu  Abdulahi the renowed vigour, knowledge,wisdom, sound health and all it takes for their leadership to turnaround the fortune of retirees nationwide.

Ogodu Stakeholders Pay Appreciation Visit to Omala Lawmaker for Tremendous Development Work

The Senior Staff Association of Universities, Teaching Hospitals, Research Institutes, and Allied Institutions (SSAUTHRIAI) held its Quadrennial/Delegate Conference at the Federal Teaching Hospital in Lokoja on October 16.
