Joyful Union: Hope Ademu Ties the Knot with David in Grand Style.



The wedding ceremony of Hope Ademu, daughter of Mr. Bartholomew Ademu, a retired Executive Director of News and Current Affairs, Radio Kogi Lokoja, and her fiancé David was a grand affair.

 The couple exchanged vows at the Arch Angels Catholic Church, Lokoja surrounded by friends, family, and dignitaries.

The officiating priest, Rev. Bernard Ologunnagba, described the bond of marriage as a holy mystery and a symbol of Christ's love for the church.

 He emphasized the importance of love and mutual submission in marriage, citing the book of Sirach 26:1-4, 13-16.


After the church ceremony, a lavish wedding reception was held at Dagova Events Center, attended by prominent personalities from various fields.

 Notable guests included the Director General Protocol, Government House Lokoja, Alhaji Suleman Ibrahim, Chief Donatus Okpe, former Managing Director of Graphic Newspaper, serving and retired Permanent Secretaries including Sir Joseph Obaje,  heads of agencies and parastatals in Kogi State; the Chairman/CEO of Karomsi Hotels Prince Sunday Inah;  as well as former staff members and management of Radio Kogi, including Comrade Ali Atabor, former Chairman of the Kogi State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ and former Executive Director news and Current Affairs,Mr.Wada Akpa.

 The guests celebrated the union with great enthusiasm, showering the couple with gifts and good wishes.

The father of the bride, Mr. Bartholomew Ademu, expressed gratitude to all guests for honoring their invitation. 


The event was a testament to the couple's popularity and the joy that their union brings to their loved ones.

The wedding reception was filled with pomp and pageantry, as guests celebrated the union with great enthusiasm. The couple's friends and family showered them with gifts and good wishes, as they embarked on their new life journey together.

As the newlyweds danced to the joyous applause of their guests, it was clear that their love would be a lasting one. With the support of their loved ones and their commitment to each other, Hope and David are set to build a happy and fulfilling life together.

The Senior Staff Association of Universities, Teaching Hospitals, Research Institutes, and Allied Institutions (SSAUTHRIAI) held its Quadrennial/Delegate Conference at the Federal Teaching Hospital in Lokoja on October 16.
