HON. MONDAY ARIDAOJO ANYEBE MEETS NEWLY ELECTED EXECUTIVES OF NYCN DEKINA CHAPTER••••Calls For Youth Unity and Development




The Honorable Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development in Kogi State, and the Organizing Secretary of the Nigeria Forum of Honourable Commissioners for Youth, Hon. Monday Aridaojo Anyebe, has met with the Newly elected executives of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Dekina Chapter. The meeting, which was held in a cordial and interactive atmosphere, was led by the newly elected Coordinator of the Council, Comrade Ali Isah, alongside his team. The engagement was aimed at enhancing synergy between the Government and the Youth leadership in Dekina Local Government to ensure strategic policies and programs that will uplift young people.

During the meeting, Comrade Ali Isah commended Hon. Monday Anyebe for his tireless commitment to youth empowerment, Sports Development, and Grassroots engagement. He acknowledged the Commissioner's tireless efforts in championing initiatives that provide opportunities for young people in Kogi State. He further assured the Honourable Commissioner that the newly elected executives of NYCN, Dekina Chapter, would remain Dedicated to their responsibilities, advocating for youth inclusion, skills acquisition, and Community Development programs that will positively impact the lives of young people in the Local Government.

Speaking on behalf of the newly elected executives, Comrade Ali Isah urged all stakeholders, including youths across Dekina Local Government, to come together and support the council's vision. He emphasized that collective efforts were crucial in Driving meaningful change, ensuring that the youths benefit from various Government Programs and initiatives. He Described the election process as a Game of football, stating that in every contest, there must be a winner, but in the end, what truly matters is teamwork. He, therefore, extended an olive branch to his opponents, urging them to join hands with him and other elected executives to build a more formidable youth movement in Dekina.

In his closing remarks, the Honourable Commissioner, Hon. Monday Anyebe, commended the newly elected NYCN executives for their Dedication to Youth Development. 
The Coordinator also expressed profound Gratitude to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Ahmed Usman Ododo, for his relentless support for youth-oriented programs and policies aimed at empowering young people across the state. The honourable commissioner assured the council of his ministry’s continuous collaboration, stressing that the Government remains committed in promoting youth participation in Governance, economic empowerment,and soports Development in Kogi State.
