Halims; Looking Beyond Critics, Breaking Grounds for Constituents Benefits.

Rt Honourable Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali, Deputy House Leader, House of Representatives can be likened to a cat with nine lives , therefore his critics do not know his background.

He started as an unruffled public servant and became a successful business man and now an astute politician who grew from the grassroot to the peak of his political elevation and career .

No amount of criticisms deters him , but rather  grace his elevation to the next level, inshallah.

Halims started his life as a nobody and rose to become somebody, with a pauper background he struggled right from his early days in primary school at Ankpa , Secondary School and later the tertiary institutions he attended with no support, but personal struggles.

He combined schooling with quaranic education to joining his late father to the market for livestock trading, crisscrossing the old Ankpa local government that covers the current Olamaboro, Omala , Ankpa markets were destiny has made him to preside over today .

He is a son of the soil , not an opportunist, he has come , seen and conquered in all ramifications.

He had made quality representation right from when he represented Ankpa 1 in the then Kogi state House of Assembly, did marvelously well to the consternation of his detractors.

He was to continue for a second term in office, before zoning arrangements precluded him from continuing , yet he became one of the Chairmen of a Board in Kogi state .

As a maverick politician , he defeated many prominent sons and daughters of well recognized politicians many times in the party primary that has now become history.

He won after moving from the PDP to the APC as a member, House of Representatives in 2019-2023 and staged a come back after a successful and distinct performance in 2023.

He was appointed Chairman , House Committee on steel with his ranking advantage and became Deputy House Leader, in the current dispensation.

The people of Ankpa , Olamaboro, Omala Local Governments and federal constituency should count themselves lucky for producing a committee chairman who was a first timer , but by virtue of his ranking advantage.

He used the opportunity and provided extraordinary Constituency projects to the area through mass employment, empowerment, trainings and retraining, as well capacity building and development.

He delved both into Education and Agriculture revolution with a good record , frequent in plenary, committee session and very vocal indeed, with perfect attendance in adhoc assignments that earned him the current position.

As Deputy House Leader of the House of Representatives, the opportunities to develop his federal Constituency became wider and more robust which he has been doing with Roads Construction, Building of Schools , Supplies of Science equipments , empowerment, series of specialized trainings and empowerment with starter packs , seedlings among many others.

In two years , Rt Honourable Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali has invested over 20 Billion in his constituency without looking back which is rare and unprecedented in the history of Kogi state and Ankpa Federal Constituency and still running.

By the time he finishes in the next two years , he must have invested over 40 Billion in on his constituents, rare in the history of Ankpa ,Olamaboro, Omala Local Governments, and an unbroken records in the history of the Constituency.

What else do you want Halims to do , in other climes, he needs support to move to the Senate to do more , rather than the "pull him down syndrome,"

But , if you know the history of Rt Honourable Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali Halims, he is not moved by actions of detractors, but rather determined to continue to serve his people in any given opportunity.

Kudos to Rt Honourable Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali.
