The Chairman, Kogi State wing of Fulani Elders Forum, Alhaji Dauda Abdullah has condemned the recent attack on the people of Obajana axis of Kogi State.

The Chairman, Kogi State wing of Fulani Elders Forum, Alhaji Dauda Abdullah has condemned the recent attack on the people of Obajana axis of Kogi State.

Alhaji Dauda in his reaction in Lokoja described the situation as shocking and urged security agencies to fish out the bad eggs in the society.

He commiserated with the people of Obajana on the loss saying insecurity has remained a huge setback  to the peace and stability of the country.

Alhaji Dauda maintained that Nigerians need to work towards achieving her earlier peaceful disposition to all ethnic groups, emphasizing that the recent spate of crime are totally against the wish of the nationalist.

He emphasized that he has always advocated for peace, warning that the forum will never assist criminal.

Dauda also appealed to the people to avoid overgeneralization that can lead to suspicion, reprisal and hatred for innocent  citizens.

The chairman appealed to security agencies to step up surveillance to bring perpetrators to book.
