*New Green Empowerment and Congress Set to Revolutionize Kogi State Politics*
Lokoja - The New Green Empowerment and Congress, a new political party, has reiterated its commitment to empowering individuals and communities in Kogi State.
Speaking at a meeting of the party in Lokoja, the state chairman, Hon. Dr. Frank Katto Joe Abaya, stated that the party's mission is to provide a solid foundation for the state, rooted in human capital development and improved standards of living.
Abaya, who read a speech on behalf of the national chairman, emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation in achieving the party's objectives. He urged everyone to join hands with the party to create positive change in the state.
The party, which is in the process of finalizing its registration with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), aims to promote self-sufficiency and reach out to every vulnerable person in need in Kogi State.
Abaya expressed optimism about the party's prospects, stating that it has a clear vision for the state and is committed to making it a reality.
The meeting was attended by various stakeholders and other party faithful.
Honorable Adaji Haruna Alexander, the National Officer of the party, said the party is focused on uplifting the downtrodden and bridging the gap between the rich and the poor, particularly in Kogi State.
The party has established a strong structure, with national and state officers, as well as offices in 11 states. The national chairman, Honourable Idris Abdelkarim, has urged members to work hard and get to the grassroots, conscientizing people on how to move the party forward.
"NGEI draws inspiration from the Labour Party, which has risen to become a national force. The party believes that with quality members and contestants, it can achieve similar success".
" The party's dream is to create a communal organization where everyone contributes and feels a sense of belonging. NGEI is committed to empowering people, promoting small and medium enterprises, and supporting agriculturists, especially those in rural areas."
" As NGEI celebrates its anniversary, it is aware of the challenges ahead but is confident in its ability to make a difference. The party is not just another political party; it is a movement driven by a desire to uplift people and create positive change."
Elder Andrew Adama, Deputy Chairman of Kogi East, commended the meeting, stating that the ideas shared on the New Green Empowerment Initiative and the party's registration process were all excellent.
He expressed gratitude to God for the progress made so far and prayed for the party's continued success. Adama emphasized that empowerment is what people need now, as many are suffering in the country.
He believes that the introduction of the New Green Empowerment Initiative will bring significant relief to the poor, who are the majority in the country. Adama confidently stated that by the time the party is fully established, it will become the ruling party, as the poor, who have the voting power, will support it.
Adama's remarks were met with enthusiasm from the audience, who shared his optimism about the party's future. With its focus on empowerment and grassroots development, the New Green Empowerment Initiative is poised to make a significant impact in Kogi State and beyond.
As the party continues to grow and gain momentum, it is clear that Elder Andrew Adama's vision for a brighter future is shared by many. With its commitment to empowering the poor and marginalized, the New Green Empowerment Initiative is an exciting development in Nigerian politics.
