The National Youth Council of Nigeria Dekina Chapter Coordinator along side his Executives congratulate the entire youths, Muslim and entire people of Dekina Local Government for a successful Ramadan, according to the coordinator Ramadan is a period where Muslims all over the world engage in worship and seclusion according to the Holy Quran. 

During this period Muslims go spiritual and abstain from all forms of evil, I urge you all to continue in that light .

The coordinator use this medium to thank the entire NYCN structure for believing in him and his competent Executive for their support during the Congress entrusting them with the mandate to carry on this mandate " I shall not disappoint you all just like I did not when I served in NAKOSS" he said.

Let us use this celebration to pray for our dear State and Governor, His Excellency Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo, the servant leader who is consolidating on the success of his successor and breaking new barriers, I equally wish to pray that our dear local government area continues to witness greatness under the leadership of our chairman Hon. John Urah Ikani, may all our leaders especially HE. Alh. Y.Y Okala the State Auditor General , Hajia Rabietu Okute the Hon. Commissioner for Humanitarian and Poverty Allocation and other leaders.

I urge all youths to shun all forms of vices and embrace peace and progress.

_Idah Mourns the Loss of Dr. Salihu Alhassan Aruwa, Former Principal and Education Icon_

Dr. Salihu Alhassan Aruwa, a renowned educator and former principal of several notable institutions, passed away early this morning the 15th of December,2024 after a prolonged illness. Born in 1940, Dr. Aruwa dedicated his life to shaping the minds of future generations, leaving an indelible mark on the education sector. Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Aruwa served as Principal of Biraidu Community College Abocho, Idah Secondary Commercial College, and Federal Government College Ugwolawo. His leadership and vision helped to establish these institutions as centers of academic excellence, earning him the respect and admiration of his peers and students. Dr. Aruwa's burial took place in his hometown of Idah this afternoon, in accordance with Islamic rites. The Senior Staff Association of Universities, Teaching Hospitals, Research Institutes, and Allied Institutions (SSAUTHRIAI) held its Quadrennial/Delegate Conference at the Federal Teaching Hospital in Lokoja on October 16. The event saw the election of new executives to lead the association for the next four years. Comrade Inah Egu Ubi, the newly elected Chairman, pledged to take the union to the next level, particularly in improving members' welfare.
