*Deputy Majority Leader, Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims, Distributes Ramadan Relief to Constituents*

The Deputy Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims, has commenced the distribution of food items to his constituents in Ankpa Federal Constituency, Kogi State for Ramadan. 

The distribution, which kicked off on Sunday, includes over 3,000 bags of rice and 700 bags of beans, aimed at alleviating the burden of fasting during Ramadan, particularly in the face of poverty and economic challenges.

The exercise, led by Hon. Aminu Jibrin, Personal Adviser on Domestic to the Deputy Majority Leader, cut across party lines, benefiting various groups, including:

- *Zonal Executives*: Local government officials and stakeholders

- *Widow Groups*: Support for vulnerable women

- *Farmers Association*: Assistance for local farmers

- *Traditional Rulers*: Respect and support for community leaders

- *Women Groups*: Empowerment and support for women

Halims emphasized that the distribution was carried out without consideration to political, religious, or cultural identities, ensuring that everyone in need receives support. His commitment to alleviating poverty and improving living standards in his constituency has earned him praise from his constituents, who expressed gratitude for his kindness and generosity [2].

In his remarks, Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims stated that the Ramadan gifts distribution was a gesture of love, care, and compassion for his constituents. He emphasized the importance of supporting one another, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.

Halims noted that the food items were carefully selected to provide sustenance and nourishment for his constituents during the fasting period. He expressed his hope that the gifts would bring joy and relief to the beneficiaries and their families.

The Deputy Majority Leader also seized the opportunity to urge his constituents to continue to support the government's efforts to develop the constituency. He assured them that he would continue to work tirelessly to attract more projects and amenities to the area.
