Alhaji Adamu Hamza Foundation has been commended for its continuous support to the less privileged across the country.

President,  Ekuzi Progressive Association, Comrade Idris Yahaya Mohammed gave the commendation shortly after the distribution of ten thousand Naira each to the physically challenged, widows and less privileged in Ekuzi community Akpasu and Irenodu Wards in Kogi Local Government Area of the state.

Comrade Idris who was the immediate past Publicity Secretary of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) said the humanitarian gesture is commendable particularly in the Holy Month of Ramadan.

He expressed appreciation to Alhaji Adamu Hamza Foundation for it's thoughtfulness in giving back to the society emphasizing that such gesture will continue to attracts the blessings of Allah.

The unionist urged others in the community to emulate the precepts noting that communal efforts towards solving societal issues will go a long way to make the world a better place.

Speaking on behalf the beneficiaries, the Chairman of Ekuzi Traditional Council of Chiefs, the Ohinohi of Edekaki, His Royal Highness, Issa Danteni and the Ohinohi of Ette Mallam Mohammed Otutu expressed appreciation for the gesture and prayed for Allah's blessings upon the foundation.

The Senior Staff Association of Universities, Teaching Hospitals, Research Institutes, and Allied Institutions (SSAUTHRIAI) held its Quadrennial/Delegate Conference at the Federal Teaching Hospital in Lokoja on October 16.
