Annual Obele Day Cultural Festival begiins in Lokoja on the 21ist of February,2025.



The National Association of Traditional Medicine Practitioners of Nigeria (NANTMP) North Central Vice President, Chief Isa Obele, has announced plans to host the Annual Obele Day Cultural Festival in Lokoja, Kogi State. The festival, which promises to be a celebration of culture and tradition, is scheduled to take place on February 21st and 22nd, 2025.

According to Chief Obele, the festival will feature a range of exciting activities, including an Ogba display, performances by Igala musicians, and appearances by chief masquerades, Echoga and Egwu Gbom Gbom. The event will also showcase the rich cultural heritage of the Igala people, with a focus on traditional music, dance, and art.

The festival will kick off on February 21st with an Ogba display at 7:00 pm, followed by performances by Igala musicians on February 22nd. The event will take place at Obele's Compound, Ganaja Village, Lokoja, Kogi State. Chief Obele has invited the general public to attend the festival, promising an unforgettable experience.
