Traditional Ruler Warns Land Speculators, Celebrates Court Victory*



The Obaje-Adaka Attah Igala and paramount Traditional ruler of Obakolo Community in Igala Mela Odolu local government area, Chief Shaibu Musa Okoliko, has issued a stern warning to land speculators to stay clear of the community. This warning comes in response to an online publication where faceless community associations and fraudulent individuals purportedly urged would-be developers to desist from buying land in the community.

Chief Shaibu Musa Okoliko emphasized that any individual engaging in fraudulent land speculation would face the full weight of the law. He advised those interested in acquiring land in the community to contact his palace, highlighting the importance of giving opportunities to both indigenes and non-indigenes to contribute to the community's development.

In a related development, Chief Shaibu Musa Okoliko has  expressed gratitude to God for his recent victory at the appeal court over Land matters. This victory has brought an end to the long-standing land dispute. The traditional ruler urged both the victor and the vanquished to join hands with him to move the community forward in the interest of the people.
