Igalamela/Odolu LGA Chairman, Hon. Cosmas Ilemona Atabor, Makes New Appointments



The Executive Chairman of Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area (LGA), Hon. (Barr.) Cosmas Ilemona Atabor, has announced new appointments aimed at strengthening his administration's commitment to the development of the LGA.

According to a statement by Hon. Edimeh Iko-ojo, Special Adviser on Public Relations and Communication, the newly appointed officials include:

    - Hon. Ukantyo Sunday - Digital Technology
    - Hon. Awwal Luqman Agono - Special Duties
    - Hon. Uhiene Augustine Udale - Environment
    - Hon. Onuh Ojonugwa Emmanuel - Rural Economy
    - Hon. Alfa Rosemary Ajuma - Legislative Matters
- _Special Assistants:_
    - Hon. Danladi Seid N. - Solid Minerals
    - Hon. Ogbe Samuel Ojoabi - Security Matters

Chairman's Message
While congratulating the appointees, Chairman Atabor urged them to be focused, diligent, and committed to discharging their responsibilities in the best interest of the local government and the state at large. The appointments take immediate effect.

This development is part of Chairman Atabor's efforts to build a strong team to drive the development of Igalamela/Odolu LGA. As the chairman of the LGA, Hon. Cosmas Ilemona Atabor has been working tirelessly to promote the growth and development of the area.

Dr. Salihu Alhassan Aruwa, a renowned educator and former principal of several notable institutions, passed away early this morning the 15th of December,2024 after a prolonged illness. Born in 1940, Dr. Aruwa dedicated his life to shaping the minds of future generations, leaving an indelible mark on the education sector. Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Aruwa served as Principal of Biraidu Community College Abocho, Idah Secondary Commercial College, and Federal Government College Ugwolawo. The Senior Staff Association of Universities, Teaching Hospitals, Research Institutes, and Allied Institutions (SSAUTHRIAI) held its Quadrennial/Delegate Conference at the Federal Teaching Hospital in Lokoja on October 16.
