The Imole Adinni of Okun Land, Doctor Tajudeen Bisimillahi has felicitated with Christian across the country and Nigerians in general on the occasion of Christmas and new year celebration.



Doctor Bisimillahi in his message of felicitation made available to newsmen in Lokoja urged Christain to use the occasion to pray for the good of the country and extend love to neighbours and less privileged.

The business mogul and philanthropist also urged them to live a life exemplified by prophets in the aspect to obedience and devotion to service of God.

He congratulated the State Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the members of his cabinet and Okun nation in general on the occasion and whished them a happy new year.

Ankpa, Kogi State - The people of Ankpa Local Government Area have pledged their support for Omala LGA's bid to represent Ankpa Federal Constituency at the National Assembly in the 2027 elections. This development was announced after a meeting between delegations from both LGAs in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital.  The Ankpa delegation was led by Prof. Salisu Ogbo who doubles as the Vice Chancellor of Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba, agreed to support Omala LGA's quest for the House of Representatives seat in exchange for Omala's support for the Kogi East Senatorial District seat in the same 2027 National Assembly elections.
