*Progressive Igala Mela Circle and Dandars Specialist Hospital Lokoja Bring Free Eye Care to Ajaka Community*



The Progressive Igala Mela Circle, in conjunction with Dandars Specialist Hospital Lokoja, has announced the commencement of a free eye care program for the people of Ajaka, Igala Mela/Odolu Local Government Area. The program, which is scheduled to take place on December 26, 2024, will offer free eye surgeries, eye treatment, and provision of eye glasses to those in need.

According to a statement by the President of the Progressive Igala Mela Circle, Dr. Abubakar Enebi Edicha, the program will hold at the Medical Health Workers Hall, starting at 9:00 am. Dr. Edicha explained that the program is an annual event, designed to give back to the society and provide essential eye care services to the community.

The program will be led by Dr. Samuel Eneojo Ocheni, a renowned surgeon who will be on ground to attend to patients. Dr. Edicha urged the people of the area to take advantage of this intervention to check the health of their eyes.
