_Idah Mourns the Loss of Dr. Salihu Alhassan Aruwa, Former Principal and Education Icon_



Dr. Salihu Alhassan Aruwa, a renowned educator and former principal of several notable institutions, passed away early this morning the 15th of December,2024 after a prolonged illness. Born in 1940, Dr. Aruwa dedicated his life to shaping the minds of future generations, leaving an indelible mark on the education sector.

Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Aruwa served as Principal of Biraidu Community College Abocho, Idah Secondary Commercial College, and Federal Government College Ugwolawo. His leadership and vision helped to establish these institutions as centers of academic excellence, earning him the respect and admiration of his peers and students.

Dr. Aruwa's burial took place in his hometown of Idah this afternoon, in accordance with Islamic rites. The family has announced that the three-day prayer session for the repose of his soul will be held on Tuesday, 18th December 2024.

Dr. Aruwa's passing is a significant loss to the education community, and his contributions to the sector will be deeply missed. His legacy, however, will continue to inspire future generations of educators and students.
