CORP'S MEMBERS DEPLOYED TO KOGI STATE CHARGED TO SARVE THEIR FATHERLAND WITH INTEGRITY.
Corps members deployed to kogi State have been charged to contribute positively to the growth of their fatherland during and after their service Year.
Kogi State Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo gave the charge in a message at the swearing-in ceremony of the Twenty Twenty Four Batch ' C' Stream One Corps Members Deployed to kogi State at the National Youth Service Corps Orientation Camp Asaya Kabba.
The Governor who was Represented by the Director Youth Ministry of Youth and Sports Development Mallam Abubakar Abdullahi encourage the Corps Members to take every aspect of the Orientation Camp seriously, saying serving their fatherland with integrity and loyalty by participating in all camp activities.
Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo said Government will do their best towards ensuring that they have a pleasant staying in the state.
The Governor charged them to therefore bring new innovation to support the present administration through dedication to service while in the kogi state and Nigeria at large.
Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo advised the Corps Members to stay away from all forms of negative acts such as Fighting, Drunkenness, Cultism and Drug Abuse that can affect their life and NYSC scheme.
The Governor said Government is aware of insecurity problems across the country saying measures will be put in place to forestall and security breach during and after their orientation course in the state.
Governor Ododo commended the staff and management of the NYSC scheme led by the Coordinator, Mr.Femi Osungbohu and other collaborating agencies for their determination and commitment in guiding the Youth to take their rightful places as leaders of the Nation.
The Governor while declared the Twenty Twenty Four Batch 'C' Stream One exercise opened Congratulates the Corps Members for successful completing their various academic program's which qualified them to participate in the orientation course.
Speaking, kogi State Coordinator of the NYSC scheme Mr. Femi Osungbohu warned the Corps Members against the breaking the roles and regulations guarding the camp.
The state Coordinator appealed to the State Government of their continue support of the camp especially the security of the Area during and after the orientation course.
