It is with immense pride and jubilation that we celebrate an Alumnus of Emodu Community Secondary School Ofabo Old Students Association (ECSSOOSA) announce the monumental achievement of Moses Theophilus, a brilliant and exceptional individual from Ofabo in  Kogi State, Nigeria. This academic giant has emerged as a FIRST-CLASS HONOURS graduate and the BEST GRADUATING STUDENT in the prestigious Department of Computer Science from the renowned Ahmed Bello University, Zaria!

As we congratulate the set of 2015, Moses, your remarkable feat is but proof of your  unrelenting passion, and unshakeable commitment to academic excellence. Your name has been etched in the annals of history, and your achievement will continue to inspire and motivate generations to come.

_Idah Mourns the Loss of Dr. Salihu Alhassan Aruwa, Former Principal and Education Icon_

Dr. Salihu Alhassan Aruwa, a renowned educator and former principal of several notable institutions, passed away early this morning the 15th of December,2024 after a prolonged illness. Born in 1940, Dr. Aruwa dedicated his life to shaping the minds of future generations, leaving an indelible mark on the education sector. Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Aruwa served as Principal of Biraidu Community College Abocho, Idah Secondary Commercial College, and Federal Government College Ugwolawo. His leadership and vision helped to establish these institutions as centers of academic excellence, earning him the respect and admiration of his peers and students. Dr. Aruwa's burial took place in his hometown of Idah this afternoon, in accordance with Islamic rites. The family has announced that the three-day prayer session for the repose of his soul will be held on Tuesday, 18th December 2024. SSAUTHRIAI Elects New Executives, Vows to Enhance Welfare

The Senior Staff Association of Universities, Teaching Hospitals, Research Institutes, and Allied Institutions (SSAUTHRIAI) held its Quadrennial/Delegate Conference at the Federal Teaching Hospital in Lokoja on October 16. The event saw the election of new executives to lead the association for the next four years. Comrade Inah Egu Ubi, the newly elected Chairman, pledged to take the union to the next level, particularly in improving members' welfare. During a courtesy visit to Chief Medical Director Dr. Alabi Olatunde, he commended the outgoing executives for their dedication to members' welfare. Dr. Olatunde praised the outgoing leadership's quality and cordial relationship, promising to ensure SSA members receive their entitlements and maintain peace in the hospital.
