*Kogi State to Illuminate Zone 8 Road with Solar-Powered Streetlights*


 The Director Electrical, Kogi State Ministry of Works, Engineer Abbas Ibrahim says Solar powered Street Light will be installed in the newly constructed Zone right road down to Crusher junction.

Engineer Abbas stated this while speaking with newsmen in Lokoja.

He said the Solar powered to be installed is brighter to protect and illuminate agencies along the axis.

He commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and the Commissioner of works for facilitating the project emphasising that the street light will add aesthetic to the newly constructed road.

Engineer Abbas also debunked the rumour making round town that the State Government will construct fly over bridge at Crusher junction emphasing that the demolition of buildings is to create enough space for the smooth manovering of articulated vehicles.

The Director also revealed that the State Government will construct shopping arcade at Crusher junction to meet the needs of the people and travellers.
