OFFICIAL PRESENTATION OF MEDALS COMMENCES AT THE ONGOING NATIONAL YOUTH GAME ASABA

  Official presentation of medals at the ongoing eight National Youth Games in Asaba Delta State have commenced

  LKogi State mixed doubles of Joseph Victor and Ize Sezuo received the gold medal award while Ize Sezuo and Samuel Dada got bronze medals in the female and male singles respectfully.

  Receiving the award in Asaba, the players appreciated God and their coaches for the privilege and promised to do better when given another opportunity.

   They however called for improvement in infrastructure and equipment noting that with good training, the athletes will do better.

  Speaking, coach Friday Abah and Jibril Shaku expressed joy at the feat saying their outing was not in vain.

  Competitions in relay and other sports is expected to commence fully tomorrow.

*ANKPA LGA APC STAKEHOLDERS RESOLVE TO SUPPORT OMALA'S HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES BID IN 2027*

Ankpa, Kogi State - The people of Ankpa Local Government Area have pledged their support for Omala LGA's bid to represent Ankpa Federal Constituency at the National Assembly in the 2027 elections. This development was announced after a meeting between delegations from both LGAs in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital.  The Ankpa delegation was led by Prof. Salisu Ogbo who doubles as the Vice Chancellor of Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba, agreed to support Omala LGA's quest for the House of Representatives seat in exchange for Omala's support for the Kogi East Senatorial District seat in the same 2027 National Assembly elections.
