_Kogi State Tops Table Tennis at National Youth Games_

Kogi State has claimed its first gold medals in the mixed doubles table tennis event at the ongoing National Youth Games in Asaba, Delta State. Joseph Victor and Sezuo Ize defeated their Delta State counterparts 3-2, securing the top spot.

The victorious duo thanked the ministry and coaches for their support, while coaches Usman Jibril Shaku and Friday Abah praised the players' determination. Commissioner for Youths and Sports Development, Mr. Monday A Anyebe, hailed the achievement as a welcome development and assured that more medals would follow in other sports.

With this win, Kogi State takes the lead in table tennis at the National Youth Games, showcasing the talents of its young athletes.
