*"Nigeria: ODA Advocates for Peaceful Protest, Urges Government to Address Economic Hardship"*

The Okun Development Association (ODA) has appealed to Nigerians to adopt peaceful means of expression, amidst growing discontent and protests across the country.

In a statement signed by its President General, Ambassador Akenson Rotimi, ODA acknowledged the widespread hunger and economic hardship facing Nigerians, but condemned the violent turn of recent protests.

The Association urged the government to:

- Engage citizens more effectively on ongoing reforms
- Accelerate economic development programs
- Deliver tangible benefits of democracy
- Create economic opportunities for youths

ODA emphasized the need for constructive dialogue and inclusive development to address Nigeria's challenges.
