_NEW VIGILANTE CHIEF VOWS TO BOOST SECURITY IN KOGI STATE_

Navy Commander Abdulrahman Adinohi, the new Comptroller General of the Kogi State Vigilante Service, has embarked on a tour of various commands to assess progress and identify areas for improvement.

In an interview with newsmen in Lokoja, Commander Adinohi attributed the state's positive trajectory to the APC-led administration of Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello.

He stated that his visit aims to boost the morale of officers and men, building on established records and improving overall performance.

Commander Adinohi pledged to surpass his predecessor's achievements, as expected by Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, and emphasized collaboration with sister agencies for effective intelligence gathering.

He urged stakeholders, including citizens, to work together to combat insecurity and crime, highlighting the importance of safeguarding the state's National Award for security.

On the supreme court verdict, Commander Adinohi expressed no surprise, noting that it affirmed earlier tribunal and appeal court decisions.

He encouraged Governor Ododo to continue the agenda of continuity, citing widespread appreciation for the APC's positive impact across the state.

Commander Adinohi's commitment to enhancing security and building on existing successes is expected to further solidify Kogi State's position as a safe and secure environment.
