More PDP Stakeholders drum support for Hon. Mohammed Sani Gambo, Kogi PDP chairmanship aspirant

More People's Democratic party (PDP) Leaders in Kogi State drum support for the State PDP Chairmanship Hopeful, Hon. Mohammed Sani Gambo.
The latest are, Party Leaders from Bassa-Mosoum ward and other parts of the state.
 In their separate interviews with our correspondent,they described the candidature of Hon. Mohammed Sani Gambo for the state PDP chairmanship position as a step in the right direction.
According to them , their support for Hon. Mohammed  is a reflection of the position of stakeholders of the party.
One of the Leaders, Hon. Isah Husseini urged all other stakeholders from other parts of the state to support the candidature of Hon. Mohammed Sani Gambo from Bassa Local government area saying it was the turn of the area to produce the state chairman of the PDP.
Also speaking, Hon. Abdulmumin Salihu who is a former chairman of the PDP in Bassa Local government area said for fairness and equity to prevail, Bassa should be allowed to produce the state chairman this time around.
He commended other supporters of the Chairmanship aspirant for their solidarity and support for zoning of the Position to Bassa.
Another PDP Leader, Hon. Abu Salman explained that the call for zoning of the state PDP chairmanship position  to Bassa was a just call which should not be taken lightly.
He described Hon. Mohammed Sani Gambo as very a good party man who was very qualified to head the party in view of his many years of service to the party in various capacities.
The current Ozigbo ward chairman of the PDP in Bassa Local government area,Hon. Umar Ibrahim said the massive support for Hon. Mohammed Sani Gambo to become the next Kogi State Chairman of the PDP was not misplaced, describing him as a candidate to beat.
The PDP chairman called on all supporters of the party to join hands to ensure that the Chairmanship position comes to Bassa Local government which has never swayed in it's support for the PDP.
It will be recalled that not too long ago , ten Ward Leaders of the party in Bassa Local government area endorsed the candidature of Hon. Mohammed Sani Gambo for the state PDP chairmanship position.
 Speaking with our correspondent, Hon. Mohammed Sani Gambo expressed gratitude to all the leaders of the party in the local government and other parts of the state for their massive support for his aspiration .
He explained that their support and prayers is what he needs at this time.
The PDP chairmanship hopeful said he has commenced consultations with major PDP stakeholders on his aspiration.
According to him, the party at this time needs the vibrance required to rebounce fully noting that the PDP was a grassroots party with membership cutting across all segments of the society.
Hon. Mohammed Sani Gambo urged stakeholders of the party to extend their support to him adding that there will be a new down and  turnaround in the fortunes of the party if given the chance to lead the party.

The Senior Staff Association of Universities, Teaching Hospitals, Research Institutes, and Allied Institutions (SSAUTHRIAI) held its Quadrennial/Delegate Conference at the Federal Teaching Hospital in Lokoja on October 16.
